Pastor Wayne Beard

May I introduce myself ?

As a boy I was raised in the Westgate area on the far west side of Columbus.
When I was very young, I accepted Jesus Christ into my life.

When I was probably 6 or 8 years of age, God began calling me
to share His Word with others.

I have been able to fulfill God's call on my life by pastoring
for the past thirty-two years.

My deepest desire is to share the "Good News" of Jesus Christ
with others and help them to know Him in a personal way;
and especially to lead our church

  • to know
    • to worship
    • to reach

the lost on the Westside of Columbus.

We are proud of our boys and girls,
they are full of lively excitement for sure,
but they are also full of promise and potential.

We thank the parents and guardians for the privilege
to teach them each week about God’s love and plan
for their lives

Our seniors see the great importance in teaching young people
how to carry the torch into the next generation.

They are a loving and caring group of seniors

Prison Praise Pal Ministry

Darrell Riggs

and
Donna Riggs

Hi, I am Darrell Riggs and along with my wife Donna,
we run the Prison Praise Pals Ministry at West Broad Church of the Nazarene.

I was incarcerated for one year in the Ohio State Correctional Facilities or Prisons for short.
I couldn't quite understand why God had allowed me to be sent to prison.
After God had spoken to me in a vision, I realized this journey wasn't about me,
but about reaching out to others. I received a lot of mail from friends and family.
I was moved around often from facility to facility and I noticed that many men received "no" mail at all.
Their friends, family and even their church had given up on them.

God is first in our lives and we want to be faithful and obediant to HIS calling.
We are to be "His hands and Feet" no matter where that mission leads us.

If you would like to help, please see our page HERE.
Thanks and God Bless.
